Walthers Proto HO 920-104535 50' Sieco Pulpwood Flatcar, Maine Central #7550

Based on a prototype constructed by the Southern Iron and Equipment Company (SIECO) beginning in the 1960s, these purpose-built cars served well into the 2000s hauling pulpwood between the pulp landings in the woods and the paper mills. The open cars featured a V-sloped deck and tall bulkheads at each end of the car to keep the load in place. This is a one-time run of these roadnumbers. The model features:

• Factory-installed grab irons
• Heavy die-cast metal frame
• Proto MAX(TM) metal knuckle couplers
• Correct 36'' RP-25 turned-metal wheelsets
