Rix Products HO 628-0520 Elevated Tank Kit

This is one of my favorite tank kits: inexpensive and so versatile! I just kit-bashed a storage tank set for my ethanol plant using this kit (and a Plastructs and a Walthers tank), combining two of these Rix kits side panel pieces for doubling the tank height. (Dont worry about the extra top and bottom pieces: they match the diameter of 2 pvc so you can use them for silo or storage tower tops; these can make inexpensive background storage tanks.)They are easy to assemble, the typical rings built of glued together pieces, then stacked. The legs glue nicely and evenly at the bottom; the rivet detail in the panels is good.They make a nice stand-alone tank, or are great for custom work. A single kit is also sized about right for a rooftop storage tank, if your situation requires that.
