Very handy, makes setup a breeze.

Extremely useful tool for gluing odd-angle pieces like rooftops where no "guides" or ridges are present (e.g. Rix, Pikestuff buildings). Probably too big and clunky for N scale structures but perfect for HO scale and up. Recommended for the committed modeler.

The magnets come one pair to a package with a positive and and negative for either set so that the magnets, when placed against an angled wall will snap together. There is a fly nut on the outer clamp that allows for tightening the device at different angles. Most modelers will be using the magnets at a 90 degrees, but the magnets may be adjusted to just less than 90 degrees and to approximately 270 degrees. At 180, the outer magnet is 4. The magnet works well on plastic structures with the thickness of DPM, Walthers, Lunde, the excellent work of Custom Model Railroads, and the like.One caution, however: The magnets will not work with many N-scale structures, which is what I model, for example DPM, because of the smallness of the buildings. The inside angle is too small for the size of the magnets.
