Oxford Diecast HO 87PC42001 1942 Packard Clipper Custom Touring Sedan, Packard Blue

It’s great to see models of uncommon marques and this Packard is a nice break from Chevys and Fords. I am unsure of its fidelity to scale; it seems big, but I suspect the prototype was also.

I am delighted to see models of less common marques instead of all Chevys and Fords. While the Packard Custom Touring Sedan was a large automobile, the model seems hefty compared to other period model cars. The wheelbase checks out, so it may be just a big car. The silver trim around the windows is a tad clunky, but overall the models looks good and fills a hole for a different automobile that is not another very rare exotic sports car or a European marque that would not be seen over here in 1947.

Fast delivery and nice model.

Nice model, well done.
