Kato N 31615 White Volvo Highway Tractor Trailer with 40' Container and Extendable Chassis (40' to 53')

The positives: The truck looks very nice, the container is fully interchangeable with any other KATO container (including from their MAXI-I well cars), and if you're planning on using it as a static item to decorate a highway or an intermodal yard, it works great.

The negatives: The actual trailer chassis is fragile and finicky. It does not connect firmly to the tractor cab unit, does not fit well with the intermodal container, and it broke its internal stopping tab when I tried to extend it to fit a longer intermodal container on top.

This is still a worthwhile item to get, especially for intermodal-heavy layouts, but be aware of its fragility before you get it and don't mess around with it too much.

Nice item.
