Kadee HO 37 Medium (9/32") Underset Shank (2 Pair)

The Kadee #37 underset medium shank couplers are a must for raising coupler heights to meet the height gauge without having to raise the car height. Perfect for Athearn Blue box and the older Proto 2000 boxcars.

As expected the Kadee couplers worked the way I needed them to and solved my offset issues.

Perfect for low riding freight cars or motive power. Forget adding a bunch of washers to raise car heights. I've been using the underset couplers for many years. They especially work great on the older Athearn BB rolling stock using the Athearn coupler box. The BB 86' cars in the photo all have the #37 couplers in the Athearn coupler box.

Excellent for rolling stock with couplers that are way to low. Instead of adding several washers or more to bolsters that raise car height to unrealistic proportions try the under set couplers. Have had much success with these couplers on older Blue Box and MDC rolling stock and locomotives. They work great and maintain a low center of gravity that increases rolling characteristics and reliability.
