Kadee 231 "Greas-Em" Dry Graphite Lubricant

Recently got back into HO modeling at age 71 and building my 8 by 14 foot dream layout. It's been 45 years since I modeled and I had installed Kadee couplers on locos and many freight cars ,which I still have. The Greas-Em brought out optimum performance of the couplers and I am amazed it is still available.

The product works as advertised if you follow the directions. However, sometimes more graphite is dispensed from the tube than you need if you aren't careful with how you're holding it.

I use this often on my n gauge couplers and it makes a noticeable difference.

As advertised, good for coupler pockets and wheel sets

Definitely not a precision applicator. You will get graphite in places you do not want it. Too messy to apply to every truck; more of a solution of last resort for the problem trucks that have resisted other fixes.
