Intermountain HO 49835 GP16 with, Aberdeen, Carolina & Western (DCC Equipped)

This InterMountain Railway Co. HO Scale GP16 is based on locomotives rebuilt from older GP7 and GP9 locomotives in a remanufacturing program initiated by the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad in the late 1970s. Over 150 were produced and they have since been sold off to various shortline and industrial users. This model features a smooth-running mechanism with dual flywheels, roadname-specific details and more, plus fine decoration and magnetic knuckle couplers. This GP16 is equipped with a factory-installed ESU LokPilot 5 DCC control decoder. This GP16 is one of many Intermountain HO Scale locomotives.
