Lionel O 2526240 3-Rail 8,000-Gallon Tank Car, AEC #1948

Whether it was for commerce or their own use, many railroads and agencies employed tank cars such as these, often long after they were replaced by larger cars elsewhere. Most tank cars today are painted in simple black or white schemes to avoid drawing attention to the commodities within. What fun is that?! These cars leave little to the imagination and add a fun touch to your railroad operations. And crews are sure to handle these cars with greater care knowing the treasures within!
