Atlas N 2065 Code 55 Track Under Table Switch Machine with Built-In Relay

My platform is a hollow core door and 1/2 pink foam. Is this device suitable for such a platform?

Always received very good service from Model Train StuffThanks, Mike

The service was good and quick. But, the Atlas switch machine was too wimpy. it was not strong enough to switch the track even before mounting. I ask to return these switch machines.

pleasant deal

Atlas claims support up to 2 inch depth, I have tried numerous ways to get these to work at 1 1/4 depth and the pin strength only bends inside the motor and will not move turnouts. The turnout is free of any glue or hindering movement that would prevent Atlas switch machine to operate. E-mail request for RMA support to Atlas have no suggestion. These have to be thrown away along with I spent close to $75.00 for NCE DCC control that is also now wasted. Please note the machine is fairly effective at 1/2 table depth with their 2 pin.Atlas should support claim or redesign switch machine.
