Atlas HO 888 Code 100 18" Through Truss Bridge Kit, Black

Received my bridges today and just couldn't wait so assembled them this afternoon. Now I am NOT the best model builder ... but I was quite pleased with the ease of assembling and the nice look of the finished structure! I did glue parts that stated glue was not necessary ... just feel like it's worth doing as you go ... so it probably took me longer to complete. Very happy with the bridges and would have no concerns about using them again!

Quality stuff and very easy to assemble with very little glue.

It was very hard trying to replace my Curved Cord Bridge since Atlas does not make that anymore. I had two Pony Truss Bridges on each end of the above and before I ordered, I had called Atlas to see if those two Pony Truss Bridges would mate up with the new Through Truss Bridge. I was told it will. Well, it did, bit I had to do allot of support work under my train table to support everything. The Atlas kit I was very disappointed with it because most of the snap fittings broke off or did not fit properly when assembled. Again, I had to do some rework and on some sections, had to glue them together to make a firm assembly. I did like the bridge track section as it looks like the prototype on allot of American bridges found today. If other manufacturers bridges were 18 inches long, I would have considered them instead. If its a simple fit on a layout, go for it, but be extra careful when assembling it.

I'm doing an elevated subway and I needed quite a few...Works out great!
