Atlas HO 596 Code 83 Customline Curved Turnout, Right

I had a few situations where I needed these curved turnouts. They worked perfectly and blended seamlessly with the rest of my track work.

Turn out provides smooth passage in either open or close position. Points are a bit loose but any powered or unpowered device keeps them in proper position.

Haven't been able to use it yet because I'm waiting on other track products from elsewhere, but it arrived quickly, was as described, was very well packaged, and looks like a quality product. No complaints.

Makes for an interesting track layout.

Given the very rudimentary nature of the existing layout I'm refurbing for my father, I was actually hoping to find an Atlas #288 with the switch machine on top of the table since there's little need to conceal the switch machines under the table as all the other turnouts on the layout have surface-mounted switch machines. But, for not much additional effort to mount and under table switch machine, the #596 provides a much more authentic appearance.
