Atlas HO 286 Code 100 Track #8 Right Hand Mark IV Turnout

I am building a new layout and was glad to see Atlas now offered #8 turnouts. Previously I used #6s for crossovers on my double track mainline, but with #8s my 89-foot cars should be able to handle them with no derailments.

I was very skeptical to use something different, but then every change has a meaning Moving from Bachmann to Atlas was a tough decision but eventually had to make due to issue in track switching and lots of derailments . It was a wise decision and its just amazing how these turnouts work for small or large engines smoothly. Definitely a good buy

the rails that pivot the finish is real bad like a 2 year old ground the tops

Good, dependable turnout. Does the job for the cost.
