Atlas HO 10004332 GE Dash 8-32BWH Lok Master Gold, Amtrak California #2052 (DCC and Sound)

This detailed Atlas HO Scale Master Gold GE Dash 8-40BWH is based on thefour-axle diesels delivered to a Amtrak. In 1991 Amtrak, faced with amotive power shortage, turned to GE for an order of 20 Dash 8-32BWHlocomotives. This unique model was basically a Dash 8-32B locomotiveequipped with a North American Cab and built on the longer Dash 8-40BWframe. Some additional modifications for passenger service were included. Atotal of 20 units were built and they are still in Amtrak service in the2020s. This detailed model features a five-pole, skew-wound motor with dualflywheels, directional LED lighting, working front and/or rear ditch lightsas appropriate, Accumate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers, accurate decorationand other roadname-appropriate body details. This replica comes equippedwith a dual-mode ESU LokSound sound and DCC decoder for operation on DCCand DC layouts (with limited sound capabilities on in DC operation).
