Built on a larger frame than the U25C, the model also incorporated other improvements, such as new floating bolster trucks. The longer frame also allowed space for a steam generator for passenger service; Only Santa Fe purchased the passenger variant U28CG. This Atlas model features a five-pole, skew-wound motor with dual flywheels, directional LED lighting, Accumate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers, accurate decoration and roadname-appropriate body details. This replica comes equipped with a dual-mode ESU LokSound sound and DCC decoder for operation on DCC and DC layouts (with limited sound capabilities on in DC operation).\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Atlas","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":42221441712210,"sku":"ATL-10004620-PRE","price":27.2,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0581\/3410\/2098\/files\/49473090271646_pzcb_22928109-a0a0-4423-81b2-57c844842845.jpg?v=1763745776","url":"https:\/\/modeltrainstuff.com\/products\/preorder-atlas-ho-10004620-ge-u28c-master-gold-locomotive-southern-pacific-7156-dcc-sound-equipped","provider":"Model Train Stuff","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
